I told him that going through his boxes was like looking in my bedroom closet back in 1985. This guy (I wish I could remember his name) had some fun items. I also got this neat vintage Nintendo Donkey Kong Hockey handheld game for $10.Īnd look, LEGO Batman minifig keychains! A great deal for a buck. (Plus, it’s Dragon’s Lair for crying out loud!) They were $10 each, but I will never pass up vintage items that are still sealed. …and these Sega CD games still in their original shrinkwrap. I found some pretty sweet items, such as these posters for $2 each… I arrived at 8:00am and had the place to myself but by 8:10 it was swarming with people, probably 20 other people showed up, but I had first dibs, and I cherry picked as fast as I could. The seller was a really nice guy who used to own a Game Crazy store that is no longer in business, and he had a ton of promotional items and some older video game gear that got my heart rate going. Well, I love swag! So, I targeted that house first, and I’m glad I did. I always search Craigslist for nearby yard sales and this week one particular listing caught my eye.
